We ship from our European warehouse using DHL GoGreen services. Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days.
At checkout, you can choose between Free Standard Shipping, with delivery in 3–5 business days, or Express Shipping, with delivery in approximately 2 business days, depending on your location.
All shipments include tracking, allowing you to follow your order from dispatch to delivery. Shipping costs and delivery options are displayed at checkout before payment.

You have the right to return your order within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer law.
Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned in their original packaging. To start a return, please contact us before sending the item back.
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, your refund will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

What makes Openwater luggage different from other brands?

Are all features really included as standard?
Yes. Every Openwater product comes fully equipped with what we consider top-of-the-line features—included as standard, not as optional upgrades. Integrated TSA locks, precision-engineered wheels, reinforced lightweight shells, premium handles, and thoughtfully designed interiors are all part of the core product.
Our philosophy is simple: a travel product should be complete from day one. No tiers, no add-ons—just a refined, high-performance solution built to meet demanding travel conditions.
What cabin sizes do you offer, and will they fit airline requirements?
We offer two cabin sizes:
- Cabin Compact, the EU cabin size (55 × 40 × 20 cm) designed to meet the requirements of most European and low-cost airlines. Right now is EU cabin size only offered in the Boundary Walker series but will soon be implemented in all series.
- Cabin Plus, the IATA cabin size, suitable for airlines following standard international cabin guidelines
Airline rules may vary, so we always recommend checking your airline’s specific size limits before travelling.
How are orders shipped, and what are the delivery options?
All orders are shipped with DHL Go Green.
- Orders over €150 are shipped free of charge to a service point. Expect 2-4 days depending on your location.
- Express home delivery is available for an additional €35
Every shipment includes a tracking number so you can follow your order from our warehouse to you.
Can I repair or replace parts if something wears out?
Yes. Openwater products are designed for long-term use. Key components such as wheels, handles, and locks are replaceable, helping extend the product’s lifespan and reduce unnecessary waste. If you need support or spare parts, our customer service team is ready to help.
What is a TSA lock?
A TSA lock is a special type of luggage lock that can be opened by security agents using a master key, without damaging your suitcase. TSA stands for the Transportation Security Administration, the authority responsible for screening all airline passengers and their luggage.
When you travel, your baggage may be selected for a random inspection. If your suitcase is secured with a non-TSA-approved lock, it could be forcibly removed or cut open by airport security. However, TSA-approved locks are designed to be accessed by authorized personnel, ensuring your belongings stay safe, and your luggage remains intact.
You can easily recognize a TSA lock by the red diamond logo, which tells security officers the lock is compatible with their master key system.
